Stand-alone security DVRs
Need to install security cameras for your home or businesses? You will probably need a security DVR to record what the security cameras have captured. "DVR" is the acronym for Digital Video Recorder. It is the heart of any video surveillance/security camera system. A DVR takes the video feeds from security cameras and records them in digital format. The recordings can then be played back at a later time. Stand-alone means that you do not need an additional computer for basic operations. However, interfacing the DVR with a computer might be needed if you would like to use some of the advance features, such as, remote viewing and network backup. We carry 4, 8, 16 channel DVRs.
